Small sacrifices

Winston Churchill had just one word to say about property investment. Sam Anderson reveals what is was and how it could save investors a whole host of potential problems.

 

More than 40 years after his death, Winston Churchill is still a good man to have on your side in an argument. “If I had my way, I would write the word ‘insure’ upon the door of every cottage,” he once said. “For sacrifices so small, families and estates can be protected against catastrophes which would otherwise smash them up forever.”
